Human Resources
The Human Resources Division exists to manage NMSI personnel from the initial point of contact through disaffiliation by facilitating people’s ministries worldwide through attention to member’s needs.
As the initial point of contact, our Affiliation Department steps in to provide guidance for answering questions that prospective missionaries have regarding NMSI. Through emails, phone conversations, and meetings, Affiliation corresponds with individuals and families regarding the role that NMSI can play in the process of becoming a missionary. Applications, information packages are available through the Human Resources Division.
Our COAT Department, which is responsible for our training program called COAT (Community, Orientation, Assessment, and Training) is involved in the planning and leading of this 6 1/2 week program that is preparing missionaries for effective and fulfilling ministries worldwide. As part of the COAT Department, COAT Kids focuses on the development of the Children and Families who are participating in the COAT program.
The Human Resource Division also coordinates our volunteers at the Center for Global Outreach (CGO). Volunteers have participated from working on the campus landscape to researching for our International Operations Division.
We desire to provide the services that are needed so that each missionary with NMSI feels supported, loved, and cared for as they journey to what God has called them to.
