Renée Flory
Reneé's heart for missions began
in college as she went on various short-term projects within the US and Mexico.
A short-term evangelistic project to Russia deepened this desire.
Three years later, in 2000, the Lord called her to serve in Kherson, Ukraine, which she did for five years at Tavriski
Christian Institute. Her love for Russian-speaking peoples and for the Russian
language and culture, grew during that time.
Reneé has a
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with an emphasis in para-professional
counseling and an Associate's degree in Art. Both fields—art and ministering to the needs of people—guide her
involvement in missions. Her gifts of hospitality and ‘encouraging the saints’,
in particular, for pastors’ wives and ministry leaders, are expressed in
different ways, whether on the field in Eastern Europe or within the walls of the CGO
as missionaries return from their overseas assignments.
Renee’ currently works at the Center for Global Outreach (CGO) in Fort
Myers in the Communications Department where she serves the missionaries with their
print and website needs. She desires to clearly communicate the stories of
lives that are being transformed through ministries on the field; she also
enjoys editing and composing these stories for the website.
