Kevin & Danielle Foster

Kevin grew up in northwest Colorado and attended John Brown University, earning his degree in Youth Ministry in 2001. Danielle grew up near St. Louis, attended Truman State University, graduating in 2004 with a degree in Health Science. They were married in 2004.

Kevin and Danielle joined NMSI in 2005 after participating in a summer internship to Kenya. Over the next four years, they worked at the Center for Global Outreach (CGO), gaining knowledge and experience in human resources, finance, short-term projects and community leadership. After leading a short-term project to Kenya in May 2009, the Fosters felt God’s leading to work long-term with the AfricaHope team in Kenya amongst the Maasai people. Kevin and Danielle’s desire is to use the knowledge gained at the CGO to serve the staff and further the ministry in Kenya.

For their first year in Kenya, their ministry will be primarily focused on learning the local language and culture. After this period of preparation, Kevin will be serving in the church ministry program, discipling young church leaders in rural Maasai communities, while Danielle will serve part-time with AfricaHope’s health development program as she also cares for their children—Eleanor (2006), John (2008) and Madelyn (2010).
