June 18—Abundant life thriving
The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy; I have come that they may have abundant life.  -- John 10:10

The three of us were sitting on a sidewalk bench, drinking coffee and discussing John 10:10 with Michelle's friend Reni, a sincerely beautiful woman who delights in welcoming all those who pass by into her heart. The conversation bounced back and forth in the air and mixed with the sweet aromas of freshly blooming roses, stormy mountain rain, cows coming home, food cooking on the stove. June 15—Thoroughly Enjoying The Culture
Hello from the Roma village of Berkovitza,

It's so beautiful here! We've been staying with Michelle (the full-time missionary here) and she lives in the village. This week we gave English lessons to the kids, and next week we'll teach Bible lessons. The kids are full of passion for life and excited to do something different with us. The kids enjoyed learning English and thoroughly enjoyed the games "Hokey Pokey," the "Wiggle Game," and "Making Rain." This time teaching English really helped us to start building relationships with the kids.

Hospitality is a word that describes this culture. On our first day...

June 4—We Are Family
Dear Family and Friends,

“We are family. I’ve got all my family and me… I’ve got all my sisters and me… I’ve got all my brothers and me.”

Paticia, I pray that you and Laura are doing fine. I think about you every morning when I get up and every nite I go to bed. I ask God to keep you safe and help you grow closer to Him. I know that God smiles every time he sees your face, because it lights up everything around you. I know that I smile every time I think of you. I love you Patricia. You are so special. I can't wait to see you and to give you a huge hug and to listen to all of the stories you have. See you soon. Your dad.
