Team Costa Rica: Rachel
Working with American missionaries in Northern Costa Rica in the public
school system
and traveling to local Churches to attend conferences and
encourage nationals.

Hola mis amigos!
I want to thank you all for your support and your prayers. Without you,
my time here could not be possible, and because of you, God has been at

July 1—God is blessing
 In the last few weeks, I have had the opportunity to worship in several
different communities in the surrounding areas of La Cruz. It has been
rewarding to see the differences in the way different congregations
worship, and so delightful to meet new people and worship the Lord with

 Tranquila is a word I have learned to live by. Its definition and
translation is calm, but it means much more than that, tranquiila is
almost a way of life, a life value: don't worry, have peace, just

June 11—Thankful for Familiar Friends
 Hola from Costa Rica.
Its hard to believe I've been here for two weeks
already.
I am starting to get the hang of the language again!! I fit right back
in with Debbie and Arlan Roan, the missionaries here, as if it hadn't
been a year since I've seen them. They really are great to work with,
and I am so blessed to have them as teammates and live in their home.
They live in the center of town so they are in constant
community
with neighbors and friends. There is a family, three siblings and their
kids, who live across from us, and they have adopted the Roans and vice
versa. I am so fortunate to be their friends. Abigail, one of the
