Both ministries will focus largely on encouragement.

July 15—We're coming home!
Hey Everyone!
This is officially the last update you will be receiving before we
return home! I don’t think any of us can believe it is almost over. We
will be thinking about the hostel a lot as we leave and return home.
God is doing a lot of great things here with the staff and the kids... More

July 6—So many experiences in one week!
We have been at the hostel for about a week now and are pretty sure
about most of the kid’s names, kinda. Now that we look back on it, it

hard to believe today is 1 week from when we leave for Thailand! We are
feeling so at home with the people and the lifestyle that it will be
hard to go, but we're excited to see what Christ has for us in Chaing
Mai. It is amazing to reflect on all that has happened here and realize
it has only been 3 weeks... More
June 9—Amazing Grace
Hey everybody at home!
We

ability to find our way around the city as well.
Last
Saturday we got to teach English at a local language school. We spent three hours
with the advanced students and found it so refreshing to speak English to some
more people our age. It was nice to learn about what it is like to be a young
adult on this side of the world. We taught them some games, sang songs with
them, and held an issue discussion on topics like "dating" and
"human trafficking." One of the traditional American songs we sang
was
Amazing Grace,
and then we had them
interpret some of the words of the song. We got to explain what they meant in
the context of the song. We also talked about holidays—we shared about
traditions and the meaning behind Christmas, and they told us about some of
their holidays.
This
past Sunday we traveled to...

June 4—Church and Pagoda
 Ming-la-ba (Greetings/Blessings)
Family, friends, and supporters,
We have arrived in Myanmar and are having a wonderful time! It is
out fourth full day here, and we are slowly getting adapted to the time
change. The past few nights each of us have woken up around 3:30 in the
morning, and we realized that this is sometime around 2:00 in the
afternoon at home! We arrived on Saturday and were met by James, his
daughter Mary, and two Americans. We jumped right into things on
Sunday... More
